When we were going to enter the big gate into the big park Silky barked like a huge vicious dog and tried to attack the gate as usual. Mummy opened the big gate a little bit. It was a little but wide enough for me to get through. Then, Silky went mad, really really mad. Mummy let the gate go to hold Silky back and BANG!! I was stuck between the big gate and the fence. They are huge and heavy, daddy. I was shocked and wanted to cry. I didn’t know what happened. I was so scared, daddy.
Mummy apologized and said that she didn’t know I was there. I’m not sure, daddy. She might have done it on purpose. I was still scared and sad but mummy gave me sweeties and the pain was gone.
By the way, Silky suddenly decided to bake Shortbread the other day. It seemed that Shortbread was very easy to make so I decided not to interfere but assist.
This is confident Silky and me examining the smell before baking.
While the Shortbread was in the oven Silky started watching telly (some nature program) so I took over.
Beep…beep…beep…The oven is calling us, Silky!! Woof! It looks good and smells good.
However, when daddy tried it he said that inside wasn’t cooked enough. I baked a bit longer and then it became a bit crispy for Shortbread. Hmmm…any recipe says it is easy to make but Silky failed. Why?
By the way way, I suddenly decided to bake Blueberry lemon drizzle cake. I found this recipe in a magazine and it says “Lighter”. Woof! Sounds good, especially for daddy!
The recipe was for 20 cm cake tin but I used mummy’s small cake tin (12 cm) so I halved the ingredients.
I was glued to the oven, peeping inside. The cake grew and grew, and it became like a huge muffin. Why?
Daddy, you are our baking sampler so if you say the cake is tasty I will write the recipe and everything. Hmmm…but it shouldn’t look like this, should it?
