When mummy went shopping Silky immediately went to the kitchen to fetch her favourite oven glove as usual. She loves it and every time mummy isn’t around she takes it, sits with it, and chews the hoop. She doesn’t lick or chew the glove part where you must be able to smell or taste of food, but she only chews the hoop. There is another oven glove too but she always takes this Teddy bear one. Why?
On our way to the park we saw Toby and his mummy. We used to walk together when we were about a year old girl and boy. Hold on…? Toby used to tackled me and even bullied me but I never snapped at him. So I wasn’t a snappy girl then. When did this my attitude start, daddy? I remember I went to Toby’s house when I was about 18 months old and he cornered me in his house but I never snapped at him. I wonder what happened to me?
In the park it was very quiet and peaceful. I was very happy and couldn’t stop smiling while we were walking. My favourite Mrs J stroked me and she admired my smiley face. Mind you, Mrs J, I don’t show my precious extra pretty smiley face to everyone, only to my favourite people.
I saw Archy the Labrador. We have been friends for a while now and his daddy used to give me big biscuits. However, one day mummy asked him not to feed me so he doesn’t give me anything anymore. Mummy said that I was on a diet. Yes I was and I still am but she didn’t have to stop people from feeding me did she?
But I was not so cross today because mummy had some new yummy for me and Silky. It was made from vegetables such as pumpkin, carrot and cabbage. Silky likes vegetables so she was very happy with the new yummy. Mummy could use lettuce as Silky’s treat because she adores lettuce and does anything for it. I like potatoes and carrots but don’t really fancy lettuce. It’s too plain isn’t it?
Daddy, we got a jar of “Devon honey”. It is from Mr Rose. He said that he had been to Devon to see his nephew and got this honey for us. Can we lick some, daddy?
Hmmm…we went to Cornwall when I was a year old girly girl didn’t we? Maybe we could go to Devon next time because mummy wants to see the difference between Devon “cream tea” and Cornwall “cream tea”, doesn’t she?
